What is included in the certification?
As a certification student, you will participate in three days of class, broken down into six units (two per day).
The format of the sessions will follow the basic chapter structure laid out in the book. Andrew will expand on the material you’ve read, giving you additional exercises and context for each topic.
You’ll also get the chance to ask questions and deepen your understanding of these concepts. You’re guaranteed to walk away from each session with awesome new exercises to try.
Each session is recorded and you will get lifetime access to the videos and supporting materials.
Once you have registered for the certification, you will get access to the tests for each of the chapters we’ll be covering. The tests will all be “open-book”, so there’s no pressure.
The material covered will be taken directly from the content covered in the book, so you can work on the tests before, during, or after the certification process. Read the testing details here.
Before your certification is considered complete, you will need to pass all tests with a 100% score.
Because our in-person time is so valuable, certification students get access to over three hours of prep videos called The Singing Athlete Pre-Game.
These videos will get you up to speed on all the relevant neuroscience and anatomy information you need to come into class ready to succeed.
These videos are also a great way to review and test yourself after the course is done.
As a member of the certification, you will receive access to a library that contains more than eighty individual videos of all of the exercises we’ll be doing in the certification.
No more scrolling through long videos to remember the steps of a drill. Andrew has organized each section for you to make it easy to learn the correct form and implement the drills immediately.
To expand your study of anatomy, certification members will get LIFETIME ACCESS to Andrew’s Muscle Mapper course.
This course will take you through training techniques for seventy-five skeletal muscles (some of which we’ll cover in the certification.)
With Muscle Mapper, you can review the muscles you learn and also master many more. Your body maps will improve, and you’ll get a great workout along the way.
Once you have completed your certification, you will have the option of having your contact information housed on The Singing Athlete website as a Certified Level One Practioner.
You will also get the chance to interact with other professionals who share your passion for brain-based voice training.
Andrew has created an extensive library of videos for you that will support and enrich your neuroscience knowledge. These videos are also transcribed, for those who prefer to read instead of watch.
Additionally, you will receive access to folders of dozens of scientific studies that you can use to further enhance your understanding of the material. These folders are organized by topic to make research easy for you.
