Further Information:

Abigayle Kate Gatton Stokes is a dedicated musical theatre artist pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a double major in Communication. CCM is one of the nation’s premier institutions for performing arts education. A Lexington, Kentucky native, Abigayle has developed her craft through rigorous acting, singing, and dance training, preparing for a dynamic career in the performing arts.

She is classically trained in voice and holds a Level One certification in The Singing Athlete, a program that blends vocal science with athleticism to optimize performance. Additionally, she is EFP (Estill Figure Proficiency) Certified, demonstrating mastery in the Estill Voice Training system, which emphasizes precise vocal control and versatility.

Abigayle was born with Hemihypertrophy, a rare condition that causes asymmetrical growth on one side of the body. Rather than limiting her, this diagnosis has been a source of strength and perspective. It has taught her resilience, empathy, and the power of embracing individuality—qualities that deeply inform her work as both a performer and storyteller.

Outside of the theatre, Abigayle loves spending time with her beloved pup, Rory, named after the iconic Gilmore Girls character. She also has a passion for traveling and hiking, always seeking out new adventures and experiences that fuel her creativity and love for storytelling.

With a blend of classical technique, contemporary vocal innovation, and authentic personal warmth, Abigayle is poised to make a meaningful impact in the world of musical theatre.
