Meet Andrew in 30 Seconds

His methodology — rooted in applied neuroscience and athletic training principles — is the framework behind every workshop he delivers worldwide.

Four Program Types

Choose the Right Format
for Your Organization

Every program is customized to your context — whether you’re hosting a single afternoon or a full three-day certification event.

Program 01

Level One Certification

Official Singing Athlete Practitioner Credential

The only program that leads to official certification as a Singing Athlete practitioner. Designed for voice teachers, singers, and coaches of all sorts who want to integrate a brain-based framework into their work.

  • Three full days of structured, hands-on training
  • Covers the complete Level One curriculum — neuroanatomy, assessment protocols, physical drills, and application in the studio
  • Participants gain access to The Singing Athlete Drill Video Library, Pre-Game Course, and Ask the Singing Athlete — an AI notebook for further study
  • Can be done independently or under the auspices of a university, conservatory, or professional development program
  • Graduates are listed in The Singing Athlete practitioner directory

Program 02

Singing Athlete Intensive

A flexible, immersive program designed for singers and educators who want a deep, performance-based exploration of the brain-based methodology. Especially geared toward athletic exploration — both outdoors and indoors.

  • One to six days — fully adaptable to your schedule and budget
  • Can be hosted anywhere in the world — concert halls, universities, retreat centers, or private studios
  • Daily masterclasses to apply brain and body concepts in real time
  • Ideal for performing artists who want a more experiential approach to brain-based voice training
  • Preferably ends in a capstone performance, usually accompanied by Andrew

Program 03

One or Two-Day Workshop

A focused, topic-driven workshop built around what your singers and teachers need most. Your organization selects the topics — Andrew builds the day.

  • Physical and vocal warmup both days — participants come dressed to move
  • Morning session: presentation with interactive demonstrations and group/partner exercises
  • Afternoon: applied masterclass
  • Q&A and wrap-up each day
  • Topics chosen by the hosting organization from the menu below

Program 04

Singing Athlete Masterclass

A three-to-four-hour singing masterclass — no presentations, no slides, just singing. Andrew applies the brain-based methodology in real time, in front of the group.

  • Typically 6–12 singers coached individually with group observation
  • Works with any voice type or repertoire genre
  • Each singer should bring 60–90 seconds of a memorized piece they want to feel technically easier
  • Live piano accompaniment, backing track, or a cappella all welcome
  • Recommended: schedule a day of private lessons immediately after — the masterclass is the best preview of what a private session can do

The Ideal Model for Shorter Programs

For masterclasses and one-day workshops, Andrew strongly recommends scheduling a block of private lessons the day immediately after. Once singers experience the brain-based approach in a group context, they almost universally want individual time to apply it directly to their voice. Building this into the schedule from the start makes the most of Andrew’s presence in your city — and gives participants a genuinely complete experience.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before reaching out.

Yes. Andrew travels internationally and is regularly available for programs in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and beyond. He’s taught in New York, Nashville, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, the UK, and elsewhere. Reach out to discuss scheduling and logistics.
Minimums vary by program type. Masterclasses and one-day workshops work well with as few as 8–10 participants. The three-day Level One Certification typically requires 10–20 attendees to function well as a cohort. Contact us to discuss your specific situation and we’ll find the right format.
The Level One Certification is a structured three-day curriculum that results in official credentials as a Singing Athlete practitioner. It’s designed for those who want a deep dive into the neurology of voice. The Intensive is more flexible, experiential, and performance-based — it can run one to six days and is focused on deep exploration of the methodology as a singer or artist, not on teaching certification.
Absolutely — the one and two-day workshop format is specifically designed to be customized by the hosting organization. You can choose from the topic list above, and Andrew will sequence and adapt them to your group’s level and context. Not sure which topics to pick? He’s happy to make recommendations based on your students’ or faculty’s needs.
Once singers experience the brain-based approach in a group setting, they almost always want a private session to apply it directly to their individual voice. Scheduling private lessons the day after a masterclass makes the most of Andrew’s time in your city — and gives participants a genuinely complete experience. This model consistently produces the strongest outcomes for hosting organizations.
Not at all. “Singing Athlete” refers to the brain-based, athletic training approach to voice work — not to physical fitness requirements. Participants come dressed to move comfortably, and the physical components are accessible to everyone regardless of background. The only prerequisite is curiosity.
