Charts for Near and Far Vision

If you’ve read Chapter 14 and are getting interested in vision training, here are a couple of PDFs you may want to download. The Snellen chart (with the capital I at the top) is my riff on the chart you see at the optometrist’s office to assess distance vision. Put it up at eye height and stand 10 feet away from it–see how far down you can read.

The multi-size font chart is designed for assessing and improving close vision. Hold it at normal reading distance and see how small of a font you can read.

These charts are useful as reassessments as you progress through the visual drills. Test your eyes, do one of the vision drills, and then reassess. Has your vision improved?
